Cream City Foundation
Cream City Foundation was founded in 1982 with only $500 in seed money and has granted more than $2.0 million to vital programming supporting the LGBTQ+ communities of southeastern Wisconsin.
In 2024, Cream City Foundation joined as a partner foundation with Greater Milwaukee Foundation – enabling further sustainability and growth.
Our Vision is a thriving, abundant, and supported community in southeastern Wisconsin whose philanthropy ensures LGBTQ+ people have the resources to reach their full potential.
To Achieve that… Our Mission is that we empower LGBTQ+ communities by connecting them to resources through grant making, convening, and collaboration.
Our work is ever evolving as the needs of our communities evolve and the Cream City Foundation board of directors is engaged in strategic planning throughout 2026 – ensuring we can deliver on our mission and reach our vision.
